St George’s Western Tournament

I don’t do nearly enough archery tournaments as I should be doing but today was a chance to rectify that. I shot my first archery tournament of the season. A Western shot at St George’s Archery Club in Harrogate. I put in a score of 792, 96 hits and 61 golds. Not enough to claim a top 3 position and not enough of my archery club to put together a team.

Looking back to when I last did the tournament in 2008 I scored 770. It’s great to see improvement in scores and I will be looking to make further improvements in the future.

My next tournament’s will be Wakefield Archers Albion in July and possible Aire Valley archers Western in August. Thank you to St George’s Archery club for hosting the tournament. I’m sure to be back next year.
